Okay so I've decided to get back to blogging. I know. I know. I've said the same phrase over and over and over again. I also know that my last post was about me 'getting back in business'. HAHAHA. But no worries. Hopefully this will be the very last time I'll type that phrase. hehehe.

Anyhoo, my decision to start blogging again partly falls on the fact that Police life has been every bit mundane. It also serves as a distraction from online shopping/ shopping in real life. I know you're judging me right now. STOP. hehehe.

So what have I been up to lately? Nothing much. Let's see.

Basically, I have not changed much.The Ammar you have come to know and love( heheh ) is pretty much just where you left him. Crazy and wacky.

In other news, I have reapplied for a new course in NUS.

I say 'hell no' to NUS SCI and 'hell YEAH' to NUS ARCHITECTURE!

The wait was killing me but now the wait is over, I am so over the moon! I count myself extremely lucky because this year was the first year they were accepting students based on grades itself without the need to sit through any aptitude test or go through any interview! (wow that was a long sentence). So give us all a minute for me to count my blessings!

Because of the Singapore General Elections, tomorrow I start work at 6am. Which means I need to be at work by 5am! MEH. But the bright side of it is that, I will be reporting off duty at 4pm!!! Happy as a mad cow, or what? Thank you Singapore and your need for democracy! Love you! Don't ask me who I am voting for cus I am still a kiddy and need not vote. yet. HEHEHE.

Which also means that I did not get the growth dividend! No money=sad face!

BACK IN BUSINESS!

Thought I'd get back to blogging since I am quite free now.

Life as a Police NS man is really, for the lack of a better word, 'slack'. But I am seriously thankful for that because I am a veh veh lazy person.

The last few days after we completed our tests and shizz were the best! They were so relaxing but such a HUGE waste of time.

I should have gotten MC but because I am a veh veh lazy person, I was not bothered to travel all the way to a polyclinic and wait in line.

Right now, I am enjoying my last few days of freedom before SYOG deployment. :(:(:(

If not for those brats whom need constant security, I would have passed out already.

However, I am kinda looking forward to it since I wanna walk a mile in the ~~shoes~~ boots of a REAL policeman. It would be an enriching experience. Furthermore, it would be during the fasting month, so it will really test my endurance.

I really wonder how the Iranian kiddos are gonna compete during this period cus of fasting and stuff. It must be really hard on them, having to train and all. RESPECT.

This must be a political strategy by Singapore to win the YOG. hehehhe.

Last Wednesday, I had my POC graduation dinner and expectedly, everyone was glamorous and enormously excited. The performances were enjoyable but at the end of the night, I was left a bit unimpressed? I thought they would get food from some high end caterer but obviously I was wrong. It was the shitty ISS/Stamford. And the MESS was a freaking SAUNA. Hello, we are not in CD. I guess I shouldn't have expected too much from NS events.

This above, is my Brunei friend who got fined for jaywalking!! ahahhahaha

In other news, my left eye has been nothing but bothersome the last couple of days. It is not sore eyes or anything. It is just really itchy and annoying.

Hence, to curb my habit of rubbing my eyes, I usually go to sleep.

So yesterday was epic cus I slept from 4pm till 11pm. And then I just could not get back to sleep. This has been the case for a while now. I usually take loooong naps in the afternoon and be awake at night all the way till 5 in the AM.

I need to readjust my sleeping pattern before my deployment cus I do not wanna sleep on duty! You know that you could be charged for that?? RIDICULOUS.

I have also been missing school life. Even the lessons. The other night, I had a dream that I was doing this super hard Math question and I woke up before I completed it and I wanted to go back to sleep so I could finish it up!

Yup, that is how bad I miss school!

I miss my friends and gossiping, all those nonsense, wasting time, being the cool kidzx on the ~~block~~ void deck.

I guess it doesn't help that I keep looking through old photos. I just feel so nostalgic lately. But, that could be due to sudden lack of activities that my mind has to occupy itself by digging into my past. Oh mind, why must you be constantly occupied?

In other other news, I am also broke! I only have 60$ in my account!! I freaked out when I saw the receipt! I should really stop buying clothes and ESPECIALLY pants!

Since the fasting month is nearing and during this period, muslims are encouraged to reduce spending, hopefully, my bank account would see some err.. prosperity by the end of the month! Also, instead of putting away 3/4 of my NS salary, I might only put away only 1/2 this month! hehehe. At least I am still saving.

Speaking of broken stuff, my thumb injury is not getting any better. It still hurts like a mother. Simple stuff like eating and brushing my teeth are a chore! I don't think that it's broken or anything but I hope it gets better REAL soon cus I am a veh veh lazy person and I don't wanna go to the doctor.

These past few days have been CRAZZZY!

I know, I have been saying that a lot and considering that I am not working/ never worked, you guys must be wondering, HOW COME??
I also dunno sia!

Enlisting to POLICE soon and I am sort of excited.

I mean, I don't really care much for these kind of stuff. I'll just go in and get out and then it's over.
But, I cant wait to make new friends, run and actually do stuff.

However, I am feeling a bit apprehensive cus I have yet to find anyone else enlisting to Police on 4 May!
I dont mind making new friends and all but it will help greatly if I know someone at least!
Well, I guess, I'll have to wait and see.

So, I am supposed to post some photos but they are still in my camera and I am quite lazy to upload them at this moment.
So, I will blog about Hockey n Lifeguard outings once the photos are uploaded.
Dont worrz(worry) too much cus I will totts(totally) upload them before I leave for NS life!

In other news, so sorrz(sorry) but I dont think I am up to do another movie/ TV review post. Totts not time for that.

But I will say that I am rewatching episodes of Joan of Arcadia!

I LOVED that show! Sadly, it was canceled after the second season just when things started to get more interesting!
I don't believe in all the 'what if god is one of us' stuff cus obviously He is much greater and powerful than all of us combined but it is a really good show with a 'moral of the story'. Something like Touched by an Angel, if you watch that show.

Anyways, the point is............
Don't you find it sad that such shows with good moral intentions are being replaced by air- head shows that only make society more corrupt and chaotic? Like what is the point of 'Sweet 16' and 'Teen Cribs' if only to make us jealous of frivolous lifestyles of the high society and changing us into materialistic snobs.

I admit, I do watch these kind of screwed up shows! But, that is only because they are the only shows left and they are kinda entertaining, in some ways, but isnt it like too excessive? Should'nt there be a balance? Cus from what I see, the scale is leaning wayyy too much on the wrong side.

Seriously, media peeps, you should like totts see what harm you are creating to the world.

Possibly worse than global warming! Even Tyra agrees! And she knows best when it comes to nonsense shows!

Wow. Dunno why im feeling so mathama ghandi. Something must have set off these emotions.
And I know my use of sorrz, worrz and totts are not helping me prove my point but I am a teenager afterall- my views don't matter.

HALAL DILEMMA

There is gonna be a Lifeguards gathering tomorrow to send the NS boys off, which includes me I guess.
But I am soooo reluctant to go.
Not because I don't like to hang out with them, I DO! I REALLY DO!
I just don't wanna limit their food choices. I feel very guilty because I am the only Muslim and they usually have to cater to my halal needs. This is the reason why I don't go for LG outings most of the time.
I usually come up with excuses like deadlines and projects and tuition and stuff. I feel bad but it is better than making them eat something they might not like.
Sometimes when I do go out with them and they decide to eat at an unhalal place, I'll just go along but I usually don't eat anything or maybe just a small dessert.

Life is hard. But, it helps a whole lot that my friends are very understanding about my situation. I know they don't mind but I'll just feel guilty about it.

And I hate suggesting a place to eat because I feel like if the place is not good enough, they will be kinda disappointed? hahah.

SO SORZ GUYS!

But, I think I will be going tomorrow since I havent seen them in ages. I'll probably suggest a place and I am sure they won't mind. I'll just try to make sure that I don't feel guilty about anything! (:(:

I really enjoyed myself during the 2 class ~~outing~~ dinners we had!

During the first outing, me and Yuhui decided that we wanted to shop first before dinner. So we met up at 230pm and we shopped till we dropped until dinner time!! HAHAH I had all my purchases done within 10 minutes! True story. I am a fast shopper. Can't help it!
I got 2 12$ shirts, a 10$(!!!) pair of pants, and a 20$ cardigan.
So satisfied with my purchases!

Then it was off to meet the rest for dinner at Fika Cafe.

The food was good. It was no doubt incredibly filling but it was average, I guess? Ive tasted better food! But generally, it was okay for a halal swedish restaurant.

I had the swedish meatball ( no pork, beb!)

After dinner, we were sort of aimless and just like stood around outside the station shit chatting until it was late and then went home.

During the next class outing, we watched KICKASS! Well, it wasn't really a class outing cus there were only 5 of us. But we invited the whole class and only 5 could make it so I guess it is still considered a class outing since the initial intention was for the class to hangzxz.

So Kickass was badass! Didnt really understood why the movie was M18 but all was revealed once we watched it! hehhehe.

It was gruesome and violent with a touch of comic relief. It was definitely better than I expected. Worth my 6$!

Afterwhich, we had supper at Coffee Bean at 313. We had the warm chocolate cake and some butter coconut marshmallow thingy!
I LOVE THE CHOC CAKE! As much as I don't really like chocolate, the cake was really good!!

I am so glad that my new camera can take disco shots just as well as my sony!! HEHEH

SURVIVORMANIA!

Okay I am watching Survivor 20 right now and I had to pause and write this blog post because JT is the dumbest, stupidest, most clueless player in SURVIVOR HISTORY EVEEEEERRRR!!!!

Am not gonna tell you what he did, just watch it for yourself but it was a super dumb move! SUPER!

And the other heroes tribe members are equally stupid as well! They may be kind at heart but that's just to compensate for their dumbness! I guess it's true when they say that when you hang around stupid people (ie JT and Rupert) you become just as stupid.
I hope candice doesnt disappoint. She's a med student right? So she should be quite smart!

It was sooo embarrassing but so funny at the same time!!! sigh..

So my favourite is going home today! :( I always check wiki before watching! hahaha
I am sad times infinity to the power of forever!
She's really smart! Like what she said during tribal council last week and this week made a lot of sense! And her confessions are so witty and funny!

I DESERVE A SAD POST:(

So, my dentistry interview went real badly! Like really really soo BAD!
It was all kinds of horrible. I am not exaggerating at all!
No matter how much I prepared, I could not have foreseen that they would ask me those questions or be so unkind.

All of them were in accordance that dentistry is NOT for me.
They say I should take some arts or design course because of my art skills.
I tried my best to tell them that I have considered that route but I just dont see myself being an "artist". I would much rather be a dentist because it is so much more fulfilling and I find everything to do with it very interesting!

And just because I dress well and that I have an interest in art, does not mean that I should pursue a career in art.
Yes, I do like to STIMULATE the right hemisphere of my brain once in a while. But, I also love to STIMULATE my left hemisphere.

You(the panel) may have lost your passion in dentistry but that does not give you the right to burst my bubble as well.

I thought the panel was going to be friendlier... I really did because I met Ian Yang before my interview and he said his went well(different group).
I guess I was just "lucky" enough to be in Team C.

Also, I thought it would be a good thing that I do a lot of things. Like sports and art and volunteer work etc. It just goes to show that I am an all rounder. But they didnt see it that way. :(:(:(

I told them that the first thing I see when I look at people are their teeth and the woman person was like I think it's the eyes. And then I looked at her teeth and they were really "not nice". OPPS.
And she's a prosthodontist.

There was this other guy on the panel and he was all sorts of disgusting. He was texting while talking to me and his leg was up. He asked me what was Oldam's middle name cus I was from ACJC. Of course I didnt know. Who cares about such history???
And it turns out he's a TRUE BLUE RED AND GOLD ACS boy! I should have known from his attitude. pfft.

The other guy was kind. I really liked him. He kinda looked like Mr Tham, my PW teacher. heh.

Insulting the panel is not gonna help but it makes me feel better!
So, THERE!

Well, so after the terrible interview, I left and I teared abit and I let it ALL go in the toilet cubicle! Drama, I know.
And big boys do cry. If something means a lot to them, they do.

I was all kinds of sadness on the journey home, of course. I was close to tears like 4 times in total and I covered them up by yawning and looking sleepy. Image is still everything, people!

I got home and I acted normal because I didnt want my family to worry! Especially my mother cus she will be all over me and I just need space right now. So I acted like the interview went fine and watched American Idola and all.

And then I went to bed early to think things over. Also, I wanted to forget. So sleep was ideal.

My friends tell me that I should not lose hope or faith. But it is too much to ask for. Out of 400, only 48 people are going to be selected. Of course, it is too much!

But nevertheless, whatever the outcome, I will eventually ACCEPT it because Allah knows best and I will keep in mind that whatever he chooses for me, it is in my best interest! Insya'Allah.
There will be days where I will regret that I did not get into my dream course and I will definitely be disappointed.
Those days will be my manly version of a PMS. So watch out! heh.

So you ask me, "am I gonna be okay?"
I say," No, I am not."

At least not for a very very long time. My life seems directionless right now. All Ive worked for has been aiming towards Dentistry and now I just dunno what I will do with my life if I don't get in.
Ive got to U turn and think things through once again.

At the end of the day, it was really my own fault. I should have came up with a much more compelling reason.
And that's advice to all of you!

MASSIVE GIF DUMP!

Its 1:05 in the AM and I am bored with nothing to do.

Yesterday I had my Manual Dexterity Test!
I am so glad it is over!
It was ~~surprisingly~~ expectedly fun! Like an arts and crafts class! heheh
We had to mould a plasticine into a molar, bend some wires and carve a plaster cylinder into some shape.

I think I did reasonably well but I am sure out of the 400 people shortlisted, 1 or more would do better than me! Hence, I must ACE my interview this coming Wednesday! Nervous or what??! HAHHA I MUST BE ONE OF THE 48 PEOPLE SELECTED!! confidence beb!

I have good news for ~~all~~ ME!

I got shortlisted for Dentistry! Alhamdulillah! All praises to Allah!
I am so extremely excited! I was full of joy when I checked my online status this afternoon!

My dexterity test is on Monday and the interview is on Wednesday!
Wow, too fast and furious!

As such, I will be meeting up with ma peeps tomorrow to practice for the test and also for them to practice for their Medicine essay test this Sunday!
All the best to them and the rest of the Medicine peeps!

In other news, I taught Speech and Drama to a class of primary 2 kids the previous 3 days!

I was so nervous cus:
1. I had no experience in DRAMA
2. I had no experience in teaching
3. I had no experience in teaching 30 kids
4. I had no experience in teaching 30 noisy and rowdy primary 2 kids.

But all went well and now im experienced in all of the above! hehehhe.
I kinda miss the kids but I will NEVER teach primary school kids again!
In fact, I hope that I wont go into teaching..
So stressful.

Anws, yesterday, after my last Speech and Drama lesson, I missed a step at the interchange and I think I kinda moved a bone. Like got dislocation or something cus it hurts real bad right now. It's not swollen.....YET but if the pain persists then i'd have to go visit the doctor soon :(

So anws, after I tripped, my right foot was numb and wobbly so I couldnt walk properly! HAHAH I think I looked retarded. Like literally.

But after years of watching models fall on/off the runway on ANTM (hahahhahaha), I continued walking and strut it out like nothing happened!

Hello world! I have been saying this for almost every post but yes, I am still quite busy with a lot of things.

However, I still find the time to watch Survivor and ANTM and Chuck and Modern Family and Cougar Town and American Idola and Mythbusters and The Big Bang Theory and Grey's Anatomy and HIMYM.

uhuh. I is VERY busy.

But seriously, I need to get my priorities straight!

I am just so exhilarated that I have finished all my applications for whatever university or scholarship. So troublesome all these essays and referral letters.
Just send me to the interview!!!

So, my friends who applied for Medicine have gotten their letters for their interview sessions etc. So happy for them!
And, those who applied for Dentistry have yet to get them from what I know. So I still have a chance. Pray for me people! Insya'Allah I will get it but I am feeling quite doubtful.. hmmm..
Nevertheless, I am still gonna get my portfolio ready just in case so no last minute things anymore. uhuh.

In other news, I reached the Tigersquash level in Ice Cream Machine/ Factory for iTouch/iPhones. Dang. 2 more levels and I would have made it till the end. SAD.

I mean who doesnt want to get to the Garlicky Bratwurst level.
Wonder how the ice cream looks like. More importantly, how would that taste like??
Anws, I am gonna blame my slight ADHD cus I just couldnt stand the long wait of blocking 275 ice creams. TMTHTTM, seriously.

NEW HAIR!

I have been EXTREMELY busy this week! Cannot tank!
Still have yet to finish both NUS and NTU scholarship essays!
Almost done with the NUS one so cant wait to get it over and done with!

Let us talk about something else will we? Like how weird I am? Yeah.
I like to take alot of risk.

I have cut the collars of my expensive shirt because I think it looks better with the collar short.
I have washed my oversized shirts in boiling hot water because heat shrinks cotton fabric.
I have sewed the clothes and pants I bought, myself to fit me, sometimes changing the design drastically.
I have painted on my bag because it look too plain.

Recently, I had a Britney moment, late at night, 4AM to be precise!
I decided that my hair was too thick and so I took out my pair of scissors and being the Edward Scissorhand I am, I cut off the sides of my head.
However, I went abit too far and there was a weird bald spot. So I took out my razor thingy( the ones to shave mustache etc, that one) and shaved the sides to make it even and I kinda went overboard and shaved the sides of my head entirely! HAHAH
But, I was happy with how it looked though.
I needed to escape from normality and this new haircut was definitely different!
No I am not EMOKID374.

So, I dunno, but I was still possessed or something cus I went ahead to cut the back of my hair. It was super difficult to do cus obviously I do not have eyes at the back of my head! HAHAHA

There were mixed reactions to my haircut of course. My mother went berserk!

"AMMMMMMARRR!!! APA JADI DENGAN RAMBUT AMMAR???!" ( Ammar, what happened to your hair?)
*silence for like 2 seconds*

So after that hysterical incident, I went out with Yu Hui and Florence for Free B&J and an entire afternoon of camwhoring with my new baby camera!
Unfortunately my baby was so tired taking photos of us at Novena and then Far East and then Botanical Gardens that once we reached Esplanade, he decided to fall asleep and never wake up!
:( :( Sad.

So a few days back, i went and bought myself a new camera!!
You see, for every A I got for my H2 A levels subjects, I get $100 and for every B is $50. For every A i got for a H1 subject, I get $50. Hence I got

Hence, I decided that I wanted to spend it all on a semi pro camera! woah woah! No clothes this time round! HAHAHAH
I was so excited!
But I am sad to leave my Sony DSCw110! Good times!

So, my camera, Canon S90, costs 749$ with ALOT of free stuff included! Yeah, definitely over budget but Im paying off my father the other $350+ via installment after I get my NS pay! HEHHEHE

DECISIONS, DECISIONS...

I went to NUS Open House today and I am convinced that I want to take up dentistry in UNI!! YAY!

Prior to my decision, I had to do alot of research and read up about teeth and stuff to see weather I got excited about it or not! HAHAH
I did get excited and reading about root canal procedures, crowns and bridges, really got me hyped up! HAHAH I think the bridge thingy is really cool!!

I really regretted my past decisions of not taking good care of my teeth! Yeah, I was one of those who was malas to brush properly or floss! HEHEH..
But after reading up, I realised that I have signs of a receding gum line :(
So, to prevent the further reccession, I am going to ensure that I brush properly!! And I shall start flossing as soon as I get a chance to buy dental floss!! HEHEH.
Cannot take my nice smile for granted! HEHEH.

Today I started my first day assisting some tuition teacher at Masjid Alkhair tutoring some kids secondary school math!

So the night before was spent doing secondary school math questions from these set of questions (y)(y)

I really missed Sec4 math!! So, I was really enjoyed myself doing those set of questions! I even went overboard and did the ones that we were not supposed to do! HEHEHEH

Anws, I think I am much more comfortable teaching secondary school math than I am teaching primary school science!

For one thing, the kids are less active and more determined to learn!
However, they were too quiet!! Maybe they just need time to warm up to us tutors!

Oh FYI, its a classroom based thingy and im just and assistant so I was just supposed to help here and there. However, I ended up helping everywhere! HEHHE I don't mind! Cus its MATH (y)(y)

So, I am still on the fence to which course I should take in University. Let me list my options out okayy?

And in my head, I started thanking Allah SWT for everything! It was more than what I had hoped for! Alhamdulillah! I am blessed! All my hard work and late nights in school paid off!

And, I am so proud of my KRANJI peeps!!! 3 of us were up on that stage!! Don't underestimate the neighbourhoodies y'all!!

However, It was hard to feel happy when some of your friends were devastated with their results! Some just did not deserve such cruel grades! I really felt bad for being happy! I really did! I wanted to console people but I really do not know how to deal with crying people. That's my downfall there. So all I could do was stand or sit with them and let them let go of their tears!
It was a really sad moment which I do not wish to recap again.

SO,

I had made plans with Faza and Eve to watch Alice in Wonderland if we did well enough in our books! And we were all relatively satisfied so it was a happy moment!
Unfortunately, Navin KC couldnt make it because he was gonna enlist the next day and had some family plans! ALL THE BEST BAMBOO BOY!

The only slot left was at 940pm! Since we didnt want to waste the trip, we booked that slot, even though it was late, Friday night 3D tix were expensive, night rider rides were costly and the only available seats were the front side rows!
Shows how determined we were!

HAHAHAHA

But every time spent in the 5 hours before the movie was priceless!

ANOTHER MOVIE REVIEW

Okay so I changed the layout yet again! HEHEH
I just felt that the previous one lacked colour!

So, it is confirmed that this Friday is results day!!!
InsyaAllah, I will do well enough to qualify for University!
Been having nightmares lately regarding results!
But, after freaking out for so long, I have learnt to calm myself down and have faith that everything will be alright! I trust that Allah SWT has my best interest at heart!

So, results day aside, once again, I have buried myself knee deep in movies and all those related.

The other day, I told you peeps that I was gonna watch From Paris with Love!

It is a really AWESOME movie!
The title sounds like some romance flick but do not be deceived! HAHA
It is actually an action thriller! HEHEH.
Once youve seen the posters and the trailers, you will definitely know that From Paris with Love is NOT a romance flick!
The acting is really solid here! And it features my 2 favourite Johns!
Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Travolta!
I swear, travolta has gotten fat eversince Grease and Saturday Night Fever! HAHHA

I guess you can say that the plot is a little bit sloppy and too simple? But the twist in the movie was really unexpected!
I am not gonna spoil the movie for you but it is definitely a movie worth watching!!

Another one of my favourite is The Fourth Kind!

It is kind of like Paranormal Activity. However, I felt like The Fourth Kind has more action to it and keeps viewers wanting more. Unlike Paranormal Activity which can get really dull and boring at times.
However, like Paranormal Activity, this movie makes it out to be a TRUE story. And I really thought it was real! But after googling here and there, it is not so true after all. Maybe it is, but who knows right?
I dunno why Rotten Tomatoes gave it 18% akin to other movie reviews, but I really enjoyed it! Must be because of my Love for Mila J.

HEHEHE.

Watch okay people!

The third movie I recently watched was Ninja Assasin! Yes, it is the movie with Rain as the lead actor! HAHAH

It is so funny cus you know Rain is like some Korean singer but he plays a Japanese ninja! HAHAH
But, thankfully the director was clever enough to give him VERY LITTLE lines cus his pronounciation is horrible! Otherwise, it would have been a remake of Jackie Chan's Spy Next Door! Now, that movie was full of disaster right from when Jackie opens his mouth! HAHAH
Back to the movie at hand!
The fighting and the blood was really cool and exciting but otherwise there's really nothing much about it! Yet another movie with stupid cops! You wont miss out on anything if you dont watch it.

Finally, another movie I watched was Rec2.

Having watched Rec1 and its english version, Quarantine, I was really excited to see the sequel! I must say, I really like the twist at the end and how the demon monsters look like.

Plus all that gore was definitely a tick in my books. However, those were the only few good things I can say about the movie. Besides that, there really is nothing much too it. A bunch of stupid kids, a stupid priest and a stupid bunch of SWAT boys. YUP, more stupidity.
But, if you have watched the 1st movie, it wouldnt hurt to watch this one. You wouldnt fall asleep or anything but you wouldnt be too intrigued either!

HAHAHA wow! I can soo totally sign up to be a movie critic! HAHAH that would be the best job ever! Sitting around all day watching movies! HAHAH

Anyways, movies aside! Let's talk about this week's episode of CHUCK!
I really really hated it! Words cannot describe how much I hated this episode!!
It was so depressing and sad unlike the usual happy, comedic episodes! Sigh.

So, Hannah does not disappoint but Chuck does! He broke up with her! Stupid spy.
But, Sarah and Shaw are starting to hangzzzx out yo! I hope it works out and Chuck doesnt get jealous! HEHEH.
The thing I noticed about Sarah is that she goes for dark haired guys! HAHA
Bryce, then Chuck and now Shaw!
And, we got to know her real name this episode!

For your information, I have not been a full on movie freak! I have also gotten my freak on with books as well!!
Ever since I read Travels in Scriptorium by Paul Auster, I was so motivated to read all of his other books!! I really like his style of writing! Although when you read the sypnosis, it may sound deep and mundane, it is actually quite easy to read and understand! And I like how his main characters are mostly old men in their seventies! Cus, many authors have their main character as a twenty something or at most a middle aged person! So, it is really interesting!
Currently, I am reading Man in the Dark! I have not finish reading it yet but it is really interesting so far!
If you guys head down to the Library anytime, look out for his books because you wont be disappointed!

TOO BUSY TO READ??
Fret not, cus the books are not Harry Potter thick! They are just nice! Usually only 150+ pages!
So, go grab his books at your nearest bookstore or library NOW!

I AM FREAKING OUT!

This morning, the school called and told me that I had outstanding sports comm fees not paid yet! HEHEHE

So I told them that i'd pay before collecting my results!
Then I paniked about ALevel results all over again!

Ive been freaking out since a few weeks back cus everytime I think of March, I think of results and my heart starts beating sooo fast!

Sigh.

Then in the afternoon, I buried myself in more movies, in hope of putting aside bad thoughts about results day!
It worked.

UNTIL.

My mother came home with a bunch of letters from universities!
I paniked again!

Aiyoh.. Life sucks.

Let's talk movies instead okay?!

So I watched Agora and Precious today.

I didnt really like Agora because it was so religiousy and sciency and I cant really understand all those stuff. My history isnt really that good either so I found it kind of hard to follow and stuff.

Precious was unexpected. I really thought it was going to be really good because of all the hype surrounding it but it was a really bad movie!

The worst movie Ive watched since a long time!

The plot was okay I guess? And the acting was not bad. The only outstanding actress was Precious' mother. She played the part really well considering she's a comedian and all in real life.

But the ending was stupid and half the time, you are trying to figure out what the hell is happening or what in the world the actors are talking about because they mumble forever.

So point is, WASTE OF TIME!

So I paused the movie watching for a while to watch AI!

I was really disappointed with all the singers, both male and female! They just didnt perform their best this week! BOO!

Im sorry this post is so messy and all over. My mind is just preoccupied!

So, Im gonna go watch another movie now!

GET WILD

As you can see, I changed the layout again!
You see, I got tired of looking at my face every time I access my blog.
Not that I can ever get tired of seeing my beautiful face but I know you guys are! AHHA
See, Im too knid.

So the theme of this layout is Wild Things, inspired by the movie, "Where the Wild Things are".
In fact, the dude in the layout was the boy from the movie, except I changed a few of his features.
I really like the wolf costume he wore during the movie.

Anyways, about the movie, I really liked it because it reminds us of our childhood days where our dreams were so out there and imaginative. I dunno, thats just me.
I used to daydream about being a superhero or a member of the Power Rangers fighting monsters.

Nowadays, our dreams are mostly about doing well for A Levels or being successful in life.

I guess that it is a good thing that our dreams have matured but I guess it is also important for us to stimulate the right hemisphere of our brain.
If not in our dreams then maybe through our work and how we carry out our lives.
Like I dunno, doodle on your notes and stuff. Hehehe.

Recently, I have been eating unhealthily cus
1) healthy food gross me out
2) I am on my way to growing fat

Unfortunately, I am not meeting my second objective.
The contrary, I am actually loosing weight :(
OMG I really dunno what I should do. I have even stopped running at the gym and drinking fruit juices( cus they have more calories).

Anyways, This guide to unhealthy eating should NOT be tried at home! HAHAHA

AND, I dont eat like this all the time!
Just most of the time.

I KID!

Sure I wanna get fatter and all but the healthy way to do that is of course to eat healthy calories like tuna and fruits and other shizz.

Anws let's start!

Appetizers:
French toast dipped in baco bits with mustard and mayo spread.
A pinch of pepper and cayenne pepper to give it a little umph.

Main Course:
Laksa maggie mee with Parmesan cheese and Baco bits.
Evaporated and fresh milk added in moderate amount to give it that extra milky flavour!
Add pepper and cayenne pepper.

Main course 2:
Fried rice with mayo and a dash of pepper and sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
Top off with a drizzle of soya sauce!

Lets try to be abit healthy here and wash things down with iced Pomegranate juice!

And maybe some baby strawberries to end off an unhealthy meal ;)

Today, I buried myself in online TV shows!

Eversince Leverage ended its second season, Ive been depressed :(
No Im just kidding. Im not such a low life. tsk.

But, i decided to explore other err avenues of online television.

First up was CHUCK!

I really miss that series and I thought it was only coming back in April but I guess I was wrong cus it came back in January!

So, I spent the whole afternoon watching all the 7 new episodes of Chuck.

Im so glad that my laptop is running faster cus now Divx videos are loading faster and I can watch high quality shows (:

Anyways, this season of Chuck is amazing!! Its great that they now equipped Chuck with Kung Fu skills cus the old whinning, "omg Sarah, Casey save me!" was getting old.

And, Im glad that Sarah and Chuck are finally over each other and that they both found someone new (:

Kristen Kreuk looks pretty with shorter hair!! Hannah ftw!

I hope she doesnt turn into some other spy using Chuck as an asset like his previous girlfriend!

Please be good to him Hannah!

Im glad that Mr Awesome finally gets roped into some kind of mission. Or two.

And Ellie is as GORGEOUS as ever!!!

Well you guys should watch it for yourselves cus its a really good show!

In my opinion, the show's abit like Leverage, except in Chuck, you love all the characters while in Leverage you kinda hate some of the characters.. *cough*nate*cough*.

But, still Leverage still owns Chuck. To some extent.

OH OH OH!!And I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK!!!!They always have good songs!! Playing in the background or whatever! SOmetimes I find myself listening to the songs rather than what the characters are saying instead! heh

Second up, Cougar Town!

I kinda stopped watching at episode 13 cus the video refused to load properly and I sorta gave up there. heheh

ANYWAYS,

I really like that show! Its not as pervy as the title may sound. HAHAH

It's actually quite err down-to-earth and not too exaggerated.

And, its not all "omg Im 40 and i wanna date your 16 year old son".

HAHA

It's a realy realy really hilarious show!!! My mother thinks Im crazy for always laughing at the laptop screen! heheh.

The characters are really funny and lovable too!

Jules, the main character ie Courtney Cox/Kox, looks really good considering her age and all. She really fits these kind of comedies. But, her character I feel is too self obsessed and desperate? yeah.. But I guess thats what you get when youre 40, divorced and single. heh.

Ellie, the bestfriend (wow, alot of Ellies in TV shows) is this cynical married woman! And you know how much I love the cynics. She wears the pants in the family! HAHAHA

Then there's Lorri, the trashy blonde! HAHA you know what they say about blondes,

"they have more fun."

Bobby plays the ex husband who lives in a boat in a parking lot! HAHA I wish to do that one day!

And he drives a golf cart!!

Then there's Grayson the single casanova who's secretly hung on Jules!

Andy, Ellie's husband who wishes he's cool and worships Bobby TTM! Gotta love the fat dude.

Finally, there's Travis, Jules' 18 year old son! Such a funny dude!

Point is, it's a MUST WATCH! Bored or not bored.

So currently, Im hooked on this reality show on MTV called The Buried Life!

Its unlike other MTV shows cus its actually inspiring for a change.

And don't tell me MADE is an inspiring show cus the bulk of it is, " I wanna be a cheerleader, a rapper, and punk rock singer, a model, a prostitude, whatever.."

This show, though still has that stupidity Frat kids element is more inspirational.

Basically, its about these 4 boys who made a list of thing theyre gonna do before they die and theyre gonna do it in a old purple bus! HEHEH.

At the same time, while doing the things they wanna do, they help other people acheive things they (the people) wanna do before they die.

Im only at the first episode but they raised money to buy a computer for a needy school!

But I guess the more exciting part was their plan to enter the Playboy mansion! HAHAHA

Total buzzkill.

I know, all these reality shows are staged but still, you cant help but feel good watching them!

So, now whilst waiting for MTV.com not to screw up on me, I am downloading this awesome movie sequel, Boondock saints! Watched the first one in 1999 and I really loved it so, I cant wait to waitch the sequel realeased in 2009!!

Initially, I was kinda excited in helping cus Ive been trying to find something err substantial to do on photoshop/ illustrator.
But I didnt know that it was gonna be 40+ posters in less than 4 days!

Furthermore, this was the week that I had a lot of plans with a lot of friends.

I am DRAINED!! cus it has been an eventful past few days!

Sunday evening was the Apex BBQ, Monday night was familia movie outing, today was a meet up with old pals!
Apex BBQ

I had a really GREAT time! Everyone was happy and energetic and easy to get along with!
The highlights are the FOOD, Ping pong, and Taboo!

Thanks to all that brought and bbq-ed the food! It filled me up(:

Ping pong was fun cus everyone was so competitive and into it! But, it wasnt like serious serious cus we laughed non- stop.

Taboo was another fun game we played!
Everyone was participative and into the game, even though it was already so late at night!
All in all, I had a fantastic time and I cant wait for the next gathering! (:

So yesterday night, part of my family( my mother sat at Macs and my eldest sister stayed home) watched the above mentioned movie!
I have to admit, it was a really good and exciting movie.
It had some Harry Potter elements to it, but otherwise, it had its ermm individuality. sort of..
Then it was Macs and home cus it was already so late at night.

Today's outing was amazingly fun and full of LAUGHTER!
I have not laughed so much in a long time!

The plan was to visit the Egyptian Exhibition but because it was FREE FOR ALL today, the queue was terribly loooong and so was the wait.
So, we decided to come back another day(maybe) when its only free to students! HEHEH

So, we ventured elsewhere within the museum compounds.
We entered some random History of fashion in Singapore gallery.
It wasnt that interesting.

After wards, we walked aimlessly around the museum, taking random photos.

After a while, we got bored, hungry and Faza needed her coffee rush!
So, Starbucks it was!

Laughed ALOT!

Then, we went to Cathay to catch a movie.
They wanted to watch Percy Jackson.
Even though, I already watched, I did not mind watching it again. See, I am such a good friend.
Expectantly, it was crowded and we were seated in the Grand Theater! HEHEH

So, if you know me, you'll know how messy I am.
So, you'll never believe what I am going to say next but please find it in yourself to believe! HEHEHEHE
I have managed to keep my closet SORT OF neat for more than month!!!
HAHAH EXCITEMENT INDEED!

If you can't tell, my clothes are arranged according to type and colour.
Newly washed, pullovers, jackets, blazers, vest, polo tee, long collared tee, short collared tee, baju kurong, casual tee, school based tee.
As you can tell as well, the closet is too small for my HUGE collection of clothes! Hence, no space to hang my pants!
And, if you know me as well, I have over 20 pairs of pants! (see below)

Jeans, skinnies, linen, pants, berms.
And the ones laid out are the few that I usually wear.

There are more in the closet! HEHEHEH

Also, I have a serious obsession with Adidas fragrances! HEHEH I like the blue ones the best!

You guys must think I am crazy right now!
Having that many things to wear, yet always complaining of having nothing to wear! HAHAH

Some of these clothes never even seen the light of day! HAHAH I buy some on impulse cus theyre so nice and cheap eventhough they are not my size.. Cus one day, I hope that I will bulk up and be able to fit into them! HAHAHA

OLD FRIENDS(:

So today I was supposed to go to Choa Chu Kang gym, but Jia called earlier and told me to go to Sheryl's condo instead!

I was fine with it because
1. No entry fee
2. The pool and gym is free
3. I get to meet up with SHERYL TEO!

Havent met that girl in a while! SO I was quite excited!

So I ran the treadmill for 30 mins as usual.
However, this time, I could only run the 10th speed for 15 mins :(
After which, I ran at the 8th speed!
I was utterly disappointed! Usually I run at 10 throughout the 30mins.

But I discovered that the SCHOOL gym's treadmill is an ultimate liar!
In exactly 30mins, at speed 10, I ran only 5km.
But, with the treadmill at the condo, I also ran 5km within 30mins at a lower speed!
I knew it! Run so long and so fast, cannot be so short distance only!

Then, I went for a swim.
Supposed to swim for 40 laps, but I had blisters and I was already so tired.
So, swam for 10 laps++ only. :(

See? So disappointed in myself! At least now, I have a nicer tan!! HEHEHEH

Wanted to play pool after but the room was occupied :( BUMMER!

So, went to Sheryl's house to play cards instead!
It was really fun cus we played in the dark! Someone was trying to save electricity!
Because I was alreaqdy as blind as a bat when the lights are on, you cannot imagine what it was like when the lights were off!! HAVOC

Jit Sheng came by and played some more. blah blah
Havent met that boy since NJ too!

Then, I had to head home! :(
Sadly, I forgot to take photos!! Had too much of a good time!

So, last Friday, we had a class outing/dinner at LITTLE INDIA!!! MISS THEM MUCH!
But Izzie and Bobby couldnt make it!!! :(

So, we celebrated JANE'S 19th at this Indian restaurant called Banana Leaf Apollo.

I know right? what a weird name! Isnt Apollo like that sponge cake thingy?

But, anyways, the food was really good!! And not that expensive either!
But my hands smelt like Indian food for the next 2 days, no matter how much soap I used! IKR?

I know its 2AM in the morning but I just HAVE to blog about this! I MUST!

I recently stumbled upon this blasphemous video, about a christian "radical" condemming Islam as a religion. This man is no other than Pat Robertson!

He said, in the video that Islam is not a religion! He said that Islam is one of violance and cruelty, just a political movement!
LIES LIES LIES! ALL LIES!

The contrary. Islam is a religion that advocates peace!

He talks about Islam as deeming women as inferior and subservient to men in all the bad possible ways!

1. Women in Islam are not viewed as inferior. In fact, they are of utmost importance.
In our lives, our honor has always been to our mothers! How is this a sign of inferiority?
2. Just because, it is compulsory to cover up, or be separated from the males, it does not mean women that are inferior! It means that women are sacred, so much so that they need to retain their modesty. To protect it.
3. This, coming from a man who IS AGAINST women's rights??? Seriously Pat? Hypocrite much?

This man and all his followers are as ignorant as it gets! He of all people should know not to generalise Muslims as violent and aggresive as seen in those terrorists who think they are doing it all for Islam.

ON HAITI.

He believes that Haitians previously mad a pact with the devil blah blah blah and then the earthquake.

He is just a media whore! He may seem righteous and all but he is also the one who told his viewers to donate money to his charity so he can help the victim of Rwandan genocide, but in turn used the money for equipments for his DIAMOND MINES! HELLO? WHAT?!

Sorry for the leave of absence!

I havent found the ermm motivation to blog, until right now, at 1am in the morning.

IKR? What a totally motivating time to blog.

So, I just came back from an eventful night with the boyzxz, celebrating Eugene's 19th!

Since, most of us were broke( mostly just me), I was thankful that we were eating at an inexpensive place! cue good food at cheap rates!!

HAHAH sounds like a hotel!

I had LAKSA with chicken and cockles! My ultimate favourite! Cant live without laksa!
And durians.

Then, we got ice cream and LEPAk-ed around, taking photos after photos.

I remember those days where town was like a different country to me! I did not know my way around and kept getting lost.

My knowledge of town is still not GOOD, but it IS BETTER than before!

All the shortcuts, the lepak corners, the good bargains, praying in fitting rooms when there is no time. Good memories.

HAHAH I really do not know the relevance of the above but yeah.

Since I am still jobless, mostly by choice and pure laziness, the only substantial thing I am doing is APEX!

And of course, re-attending madrasah! Its great to rekindle my interest in Islamic knowledge.

Though lessons may get a little dry and I sometimes do not agree with what the astatizahs say or make us do, lessons have been interesting.

They could scrape the "do a skit for your project" thing, cus, HELLO, we are not 10 anymore.

We could also move on to different topics of focus! Eg. I have been studying TALAK for the past 2 sem and before that in sec4 and I feel that most of it is a repetition.

If I wanted a kursus rumah tangga, I would have signed up for one.

Furthermore, this ustazah outrightly said that malays are bodoh in math, we have the bodoh in math genes, and that we cannot celebrate chingay cus its a chinese thing.

1. Malays are not bodoh in math! We are just malas. Math needs lots of practice and because we are malas, we are bodoh in math. WOW.

FYI, I LOVE MATH! FOREVERZXZX

2. Although the origin of Chingay was purely due to religious reasons, the one that we have in Singapore is NOT!

The one in Singapore includes participation from all walks of lives, even foreigners. It just so happened that the same term is used to name it.

Besides, the word, "Chingay" was coined from a chinese term, meaning decorated float.

No part of the celebration or the name has got to do with religion! It is no different from celebrating racial harmony day or national day!

Some may say that, as long as the origin was wrong to begin with, you cant celebrate it cus it was sort of DERIVED from a religion.

Well, then, don't eat your double cheese burgers or your Kentucky Fried Chicken, cus the origins of Macs and KFCs were initially not halal.

IN MY OPINION, there is no harm in participating or watching the Chingay Parade, so long as your intention is to enjoy the performance! Its all about the niat.

But, I guess, to each his own. And This is purely my opinion.

For the past few days, it has been running super slow and threats detected here and there.. All because I tried to download Adobe illustrator illegally.. hehehe.. What I do for free stuff.. hehe

Well, I guess, it is partly my fault.

So, like yesterday I was working on some photoshop thingy for 4hrs and I saved it all.
This morning, I couldnt open photoshop to begin with, what more my psd file.
So, then I installed photoshop on my father's laptop, and GUESS WHAT???!

The file wasnt saved properly!

JUST KEEP SWIMMING

My sister is bloody rich now, she got herself an IPhone. Waloas.

Today's adventure at Jurong east Swimming Complex was a BLAST,
eventhough it was only 5 of us!! HEHEHE
Furthermore, we had the whole complex to ourselves( and some others) because it was a school day!! HAHAH Life is good.
Didnt take too many photos though.
Its times like these that I wished I had an underwater camera!

After a nice shower, we headed to Westmall to meet Jia En and have lunch!

I watched Whip It!
I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie!
Its like the normal indie movies but its good acting and the plot wasnt that bad.
I LOVED Drew Barrymore in this movie!! Her character is ultimate PWNZ
The juno girl (I forgot her name) was really good too and likable too. Although sometimes you just wanna slap her on the face cus she makes stupid decisions.--> good acting.

I also went ahead to watch a late night scary/thriller movie yesterday called sorority rows.

It was NOT scary at all, nor was it thrilling.
It was a cliche, "I know what you did last summer" movie, where a guy finds out and goes on a killing spree. The serial killer turns out to be some "unexpected" out of nowhere guy.
Seen that, seen that, seen that.
Dont bother people.
Dont even talk about the acting, because it was mediocre to the point of mediocracy.
The only parts they played well were being bitches, cus maybe it comes naturally to them. Im not surprised there.

So I went to watch AVATAR3D with Jia En and Daryl!!!

So, anyways, It was an impromtu outing cus I had to get out of this hell hole I call home.

As usual, I was the one who was supposed to be late because I wanted to do Zohor prayers and shop alone for a while.. hehehe
But, in the end, I was the early one!!! And we had to switch from cathay to lido..

The aunties at the counters are grumpy and menopausal!

I got a bag for myself at 18$! Supposed to be 19.90$ but when I paid 20$, the shopkeeper gave me back 1.10$!! HAHAH I didnt realise until after I reached lido! HEHEHEH.

After the movie, I was kinda hungry so I got cheesefries and we played cards till we were satisfied and decided to head home!

ON THE PLANE HEADING TOWARDS SLOTH.

Today was the first school day for most students and the start of work for those that work, I think. I dunno I dont't work
AND, I just found out that JC students start school one or two weeks later than other students? I don't remember doing that last year but everyone I asked said so.. STM

so, the point of this post is to mention how sad and jaded my morning , day and night was and will be for the next 3/4 months until NS.

I feel like an ultimate sloth cus this morning while others in my family were out to work or school, I was still on my bed, lazing around!!

I know, I know, I should totally get a job.

BUT

1) Im an ultimate sloth, remember
2) I dunno how to write a resume
3) I am undecided on what exactly I wanna do in Uni or in life

So, I decided that I shall watch a movie or two or three to occupy myself. What else right?

FAME was such a bad movie with a really big budget( it seems)
The plot was extremely messy and the characters were weak! It had too many focus that there was NO focus! If they focused on just a few characters, I think that it would make a fairly good movie. But, still, incomparable to the Step Up movies.

Anws, there was this actress who looked really familiar(far right) and I could not put my finger on who it was until the ending credits!! HAHAH It was Kerrington from So you Think You Can Dance!! Wow. I cant believe I missed that!

!!!!!And I thought Naturi Naughton was a Japanese GUY! HAHAH turns out I was wrong on both counts! Apparently, Naturi is an African American GAL!! HAHAH !!!!!

So then, I was still kinda bored, so I watched Up in the Air, starring George Clooney.
The movie looked like it was filmed with a really low budget.

At 7 ish, I fell asleep again!

NOCTURNAL

So Yest night, I didnt go to sleep because I was sooo engrossed in reading this book, The Secret Life of Bees!
This always happens to me, which explains why I dont read novels last year cus of As and stuff.
Anyways, because of that, I slept through today! From Afternoon till night!
I am a nocturnal creature, I can't help that.

In the early morning, I went to accompany my sister to some APEX thing.
Its somehow like an volunteer group to mentor madrasah students taking PSLE.

!!!Apparently, if the madrasahs do not meet the required PSLE benchmark for that year, they will be barred from enrolling any primary 1 students for 3 WHOLE YEARS!
That is tragic. Seriously.

So APEX mentors ie us, have to sort of tutor them with the Math, SCI and English stuff.

This is my first year, and It'll give me something to do whilst waiting for enlistment! Besides, I think that it will be fulfilling and satisfying for me!

Today's meet up was some workshop on how to be a good mentor!
The lecturers were extremely GOOOD!! I swear! They help me understand that being a mentor to these students is not just about being a tutor but understanding their problems and needs!

Okay, I am really excited for this and I hope I can become a good mentor to all my students!

2009 has been bittersweet for me.
Mostly bitter, because of studying for prelims and ALevels all.
It was a really tough time, staying in school from morning till late at night.

studying with friends and chilling out from time to time, gave SOME meaning to my life.
BUTTTT
Now that A's are over, freedom tastes so sweet, like mentos.

However, boredom has started to take a toll on me...
Day by day, all I do is stay at home on the computer, watching online TV serials.
And, when I do decide to go out, I feel quite lazy..
So many things to do (gym, swim, run, etc....) but just too lazy to do them.
Speaking of things to do, my parents have been bugging me to find a job, but I am just too not bothered.. meh.

Btw, have you guys watched Glee?
I think its a really AWESOME show!!
Its like a matured version of HSM.
No wait, its nothing like HSM because the people in it can actually sing and dance and ACT!
I really like the different renditions of the various songs!

Leverage is another good show, Faza and Navin introduced to me!

PULL IT TOGETHER MAYYYN!

Oh my its been an extremely looong time since I blogged.
I realised that eversince I stopped blogging, my writing skills have become awful.
So, I decided to start blogging again to salvage my language skills so that I can finally do well in GP. Hopefully.

ermm.. I have been doing badly in school. My grades are slipping, my attention span is getting shorter and shorter everyday and I am feeling tired every hour. It needs to stop. I need to get my act together.

For a start, I am trying to enhance my GP skills. heh and I am improving in Biology. phew.
Chemistry and Math is on the way... HAHAHAH
Econs not so much.. It just so confusing.. ill get to it soon.

Oh yeah another thing to get rid of. PROCRASTINATION.

Hopefully by the end of this short weekend, I will be ready to hit the books and mug all the way till A Levels!

OKAY! enough of school.

Socially, I have been doing fine!

I love my friends and family. <3<3
I do miss my CCAs though.
I am glad that trainings are finally over. Now I can go home early! But I miss fooling around, and after/before/during-training specials!

OMGGG!! School starts in like... TOMORROW!!!

I am seriously not ready. I have not started studying. Or completed my homework. I am gonna die. Might as well jump off the building right now....

On the BRIGHTSIDE, i got a NEW CAMERA!! Awesome~

And I took it for a test drive a few days ago and I am so in love with it. It is so light and compact and takes amazing pictures! LOVES IT! The following does not do the camera justice cus it's blogger uploaded so the pics are abit err.. unclear.

LOOK WHO'S BACK!

Hello blogging world. I havent blogged in a while and I dont think I will be making a comeback anytime soon. It's gonna be an ON-OFF thing so watch out!

I just wanted to keep you guys updated on recent happenings in my life during this oh so glorious yet busy holiday. Well, so you know Im alive and well.

Speaking of busy, things are starting to get worse as I begin my treacherous quest of completing ALL my holiday assignments on time. I AM DOOMED!

Anyhoots, lets talk about AUSTRALIA!! No not that 3 hour long movie. I am talking about the place, namely Melbourne. Oh LOVELY MELBOURNE how I miss you much!!
The whether was dry though but the fun outweighs the torture. for surezzz.

So we shopped and we hiked. Yes, we hiked alot! Like on most day tours we had to get out of the bus and hike up a mountain or climb a million steps to get a picturesque view of the gorges or the magnificent waterfall. AHHH...

Ok so I'll just post up a few pictures from the trip.

Now, Let's talk about class OCIP to BATAM!
All the stressful preparation and careful and meticulous planning paid off!
The kids had fun, we had fun, the world is a fun place. AWESOME!!

It was also a partaaay!! If I can say so myself.
Our lodging and accommodation was terrific. We had huge beds and a bathtub and HOT HOT water!! AWESOME! I never want to get out of the bathroom.

Okay so i am like super duper busy these past few weeks.

WHY?

1. Training EVERYDAY. Mon, Wed, Fri- Hockey. Tues, Thurs, Sat- Lifeguards.
2. I have to plan for the Ani-Rights week our class is carrying out next week.
Meetings with relevant people, proposals and planning take up a lot of time!
3. BATAM OCIP.
I am the IC of the Games comm (Just cus I can speak Malay...).
So more workload. Need to plan meetings. Organise stuff. Delegate work.

So while teaching my classmates a few indo/Malay words, things got a little vulgar and it turned out to be : how many vulgar words in Indo do you know session.

I know right?

Oh Hockey training today was AWESOME!

We had a 10km run and I felt so rejuvenated afterwards.

Afterwhich we played against the girls for a while until madam got quite pissed of because some of us were slaking off and not bothering. Which is true but whatevs.
Anyhoots, Ben was like shouting blah blah blah... You know lah Ben, cannot keep his mouth shut, must say something. LOL

Ya, so Khairul was like, "Don't be angry blah blah blah... Don't reciprocate."
And I was like, dude... I don't even know what that means...!
HAHAHAHA

Okay, So then we went BK for lunch and I had rendang burger which gave me an awful stomachache. nice..

OMG the article about the "Out of hand" Birthday bash, posted on STOMP and
newspapers everywhere is just blown up to proportions.
It is such a small matter, and people are making a huge deal out of it.
The article was overly exaggerated.
The girl did not mind at all.
Besides, is'nt this what we do our friends during their birthdays? play pranks and all? Who are you to say what they are doing is wrong when you've done these to your friends as well. You can say, "oh I only poured flour".
"oh I only broke an egg on his head".
Wow, like that is any better than what the AC students did.

And today, I had a discussion or rather a casual conversation with a group of friends about people perceiving our group of minorities (shan't mention) as notorious and all.
And there we were complaining that people are under-appreciating us and hating on us because they believe us to be a certain rigid stereotype of being notorious and loud and noisy.
But, then again, I think to myself that people perceive this of us because of what we do and what they see.
And while talking, there were my friends spouting vulgarities loudly, in public, being rude to commuters on the bus and so on.
And I was like? hello? hyprocrite much?
If you want to change this stereotype, If YOU want people to think differently of you, YOU need to change how people perceive YOU to be.

I dunno. This post might seem to you that I am contridicting myself but I am not cus they are 2 different issues about 2 different groups of people.

AHH.. Now that's off my chest, I can't wait for Sentosa outing cum TRAINING with Lifeguarders!

omg so okay Ive decided to come back to blogging cause I feel a void in my life.
I know right? WTH?

So anyhoots, this holiday is the busiest Ive ever been. Its like normal school days because I have to come back to school everyday for training. HOLLER.

But, its been great. I love trainings.
I set a new 315 record for myself!! 235!!
OMG!!!
But its like a one trick pony cus ever since then, my timing has been around 250.
But that's good!

TMR's the BM test, wish us lifeguarders all the luck!
I should start studying for the test like now. pfft.

Speaking of procrastination, I have been putting off cleaning my room cus it's like ALOT to clean. Oh izzie, hire me a cleaner please???

Today I went to the Science centre for the bio workshop and like it was mother boring. Maybe because I did not go with my class?
Nevertheless, SC2 people are awesome and so fun to be ard.

JC life has been crazily hectic with PW and studying for dreaded PROMOS!
So, thankfully, promos has ended and all that is left is Science Practicals which starts tomorrow :X

OMG. I am so busy, like, you cannot imagine.

Wanted to study math today but to no avail obviously. Hopefully i will study tonight/ morning at 2am since the Olympics cannot distract me and the computer will be switched off.

Anyhoots, today the Animal Symposium thingycalled us up for an interview today for the sponsor thingy for our PW project. I know right? So last minute.
I never thought our proposal would be picked. I thought we would just submit it for show and add on to our feasibility.
However, we got shortlisted and the judges really liked our idea and it is very likely that we might get the grant and really carry it out. COOLIOS. But, cannot be too complacent. LOL.
And, i am really scared that I cannot find the time next year to do this project cus I will be so extremely superbly busy with season and studies. :X

KK, more to emotional things. Lately, I have not been feelinging emotional cus obviously I am an extremely OVERJOYED person whom has little time for sadness. Alas, I managed to squeeze in some time to feel down and gloomy.

I somehow feel that one of my relationship with a friend is fading.... away. I just had a sudden irk at this person's attitude. Maybe we just don't click. Initially when we became friends, I was actually still repellent but I thought that that feeling would go away but it did not. It continued and I feel at times that our relationship is fake... I hope that I can find that attraction cus that person is really awesome. But maybe, we can't really connect what can't be connected. OMG Im talking rubbish again. HAHAHAHAHA. This is SOOOO primary school.

ANYHOOTS, today was AWESOMEZXZXZX!
I had both Hockey and Lifeguard training today, of which both were physicals (:(:(:

We ran about 5km for Hockey and did a bit of gym afterwards.
Surprisingly, the run was not as tiring as I would have as expected.
Gym was okay I guess since all we did was figure out what our RM was.
Mine was expectedly low.
I shall gym once a week from now on (:(:
OMG!! That means lesser time to MUGG!!

Anyhoots, after gym, I went for Lifeguard.
Obviously they had already started without me, doing a strenuous suicide routine.
I joined in the 3 sets of 10 laps breath suicide routine.
OMG!! I felt so good afterwards because, despite swimming frontcrawl( freestyle) throughout, I only felt a tiny bit tired.
And, I ran 5KM in the morning!! HAHAHA.

Then we had to put back the lane ropes which was a horrible ordeal because the ropes always get tangled up. I think Im like the rope master cus I managed to untangle 2 of them all by myself! (:(:

While we were doing our laps, the council people arrived, awaiting to video our teachers' day message thingy. It was so coolios.

Can't wait to see it on the celebrations day itself.
We did one for HOCKEY too but we were too shagged after training to think of a creative way of doing the video thing.

I have to motivation to study today. I guess I will only start tomorrow or on Monday instead.

ROCK IT!

Nj Rock Nite yesterday night was AWESOMEZXZXZ.
Definitely worth my 7$ even though I left halfway.

For the first few bands, the crowd was still not high yet, so the performances were quite boring. They were good, just boring.
I even feel asleep at one point. heh.

When it was Kah Lok's turn, we all screamed and jumped and cheered!!
We as in me, Sandra, Xin Yue, Sean and JJ.

During the intermission, we left for SWIRLS Ice cream. I had peanut butter and Hazelnut.
The Icecream tasted okay..
Somehow, I did not like the water they gave us.
It tasted like paper. The rest like it though.
We played a few games of Bridge and Taiti before going home while sleeping on the bus. heh

I almost had a PANIC ATTACK!
I could not find my EOM. I was looking high and low for it.

Anyhoots, Hockey PT today was really good.
We had some mental and relaxation training talk before running.
It made me a little sleepy but I was still geared up for the run.
We run alot alot alot and we did sprints again

I kinda dread having to go for Lifeguard tomorrow.
Mty calfs and butt are like aching. I dont feel like swimming.

Lectures and tutorials have been so fun lately despite the fact that I sleep like almost half the time.

SPASMS

I over- strained my left arm during training last Thursday and I experienced muscles spasms for the very first time.
My left arm like did this wave thingy by itself and I could feel the blood pumping. It was so scary yet so cool.
After that, my left arm just died but I went through to do the last 5 sets of freestyle anyways.
It hurts so badly.
I think it was because of the subzero icy cold water that day.

OH OH OH!!
I can plunge already after so many weeks of failing miserably!!
THX TO ALL THOSE THAT TAUGHT ME(:(:

Besides muscle spasms, I have been experiencing sleeping spasms especially in lectures. heh
I will just suddenly wake up and everyone will look at me. HAHAHAH

Anyhoo, Friday I had PE and I could not run properly during floorball. My legs were about to die. I think it was because of Hockey PT on Wed and Lifeguard endurance on Thurs.

Speaking of Hockey PT. I was kind of proud of myself cus I like ran close to 8km in all. I love sprinting. <3<3 style="font-size:180%;">Btw, I got a new phone! S0ny Ericsson K660i!

Anyhoots, Im rushing to go do my PW, Chem, Math and study fro bio prac.
So, a short update.

So,
My body is aching to the ---->> MAX
Wed- 5km run
Thurs- Lifeguard 315 etc
Fri- Hockey pitch training. 10 rounds, pushing, lunches (sp?)
Sat- swimming 40 laps non stop under one hour. 10 laps 2.30 sprints.

NICE.
Wonder why my body is aching.

Coach totally underestimated me.
" Except Calvin and Ammar, I think the rest of you can do the 40 laps under 1 hour"
Thanks coach. Encouragement indeed.
I finished second in less than an hour.
And I lap-ed Han Lian ( That super muscular dude) like twice.

Coach still thinks that I can't make 315.
OMG. I have been maintaining my 303 lah!
KK nvm. Shall prove him wrong again.

Got my hockey boots on Saturday after training.
ADIDAS.
Unknowingly, Adam got the exact same boots as me. At least we think so.
We planned to not buy together in hopes of not having the same boots.
Apparently, it did not work.

'A' for Econs yo~~

I WAS so elated!
Cus I realised that all my As so far will be Bs in the report card since my CA will pull me down terribly! SUCKS---> to the MAX!

Now, I am worried about GP and Biology.
I now that I am going to do badly for GP cus I did not entirely finish AQ and my compre skills sucks.
I hope for an 'A' in biology cus it seems that everyone I know has gotten an A and it will be frigging sad if I got like a B or C or whatever.

OMG!! I realised. If I get B for biology and S for Gp my grades spell out: BADAS[as in Bad ass!]
HAHAHAHAHAH.
I am so funny like that.
But no, I am not hoping for an S in GP.
My mother would butcher me.

We did HANDBALL today for PE. Very fun indeed. My group PAWNS all the other groups.

Anyhoots, today there was no conversational chinese and is being moved to Fridays instead. PHEW.
That means I won't be missing any trainings yo~~
I'll be missing the first lesson though since Monday Hockey training has been moved to Friday.

So, I did not bring my swimming stuff cus I thought that I had convo chinese.
But we did very little swimming today and mostly the CPR theory stuffs.
It got kinda dry at one point and I swore I almost fell asleep.

Got home at 830, slept till 12 and then did my PW EOM.
It's 226AM now and I am going to do my chemistry tutorial later. I am such the night owl.

CAN'T WAIT.

I have to finish EOM and GP 30 articles by Tuesday.
I am halfway done with my EOM and 30 articles. So WOHOO!!
Ive got Monday to complete them.

Bad things happened to me today.
1. My Levi's slippers in which my parents bought from Europe at a high price got stolen.
Wonderful. I should not have placed them outside my house. I bet it was those rascals whom always loiter at the void deck that took them.

2. I was walking to the toilet half asleep cus I just woke up. So, my vision was blurry and unclear. Guess what? I bumped into the kitchen cupboard!
HAHAHAHA. OMG HOW LOSER-ish was that.

3. I am broke. Well this does not particularly apply for today cus I say it everyday but like today I feel the "broke-ness" more. AHH!! I am waiting for July12 when my allowance comes.
So, tomorrow, I might not be able to shop when the Lifeguards go out to watch Hancock.

YUP YUP.

Saturday training was fantastic, I guess.
It was strenuous but not tiring, surprisingly.
Kah Lok really out did himself that day. Well Done yo~~
But my arms were like "IMBA" after training cus I did my lifesaving backstroke throughout the 21 laps. Hence, my right arm feels bigger than my left. AHHH!!

Can't wait for Chinese Conversational classes to start on Tuesdays. Which also means that I have to miss Tuesday trainings. :(:(
Maybe I'll go like alternatively. If you get what I mean.

CFN'07

So I decided not to go to CFN at KSS last Fiday.
Not having/knowing anything to wear was one of them main reason.
My parents were coming home from Europe that day and had loads of stuff to give us.
I was so bloody tired.
I know that it was going to be boring despite knowing fun people whom are going.

I am just not too attached to KSS as most alumni are.
I am more attached to NJ and of course AC than I am to KSS surprisingly.
Some people are gonna hate me for saying this but
I feel that KSS did not really make a huge impact in my life.
There's still an impact but it's just not that big.
Besides, KSS was not my first chioce
(well it was but that was because of sucky PSLE results.)

I know AC wasn't my first choice either, but I am beginning to feel in place and enjoy it.
I guess throughout my 4 years in KSS, I did not really adapt well.
That may be the reason why I don't feel attached to KSS.

On the BRIGHT side:

I LOVE JC LIFE
I HOPE it will be the best days of my life.

OKAY!!

So yesterday, I had to get up early in the morning at 630 besides it being a Saturday and go to school. Nevertheless, I was pretty much excited because I get to do CIP (Some NUS thingy) with a great bunch of people--->>> LIFEGUARDS

Besides standing under the sun most of the time (and me, being a RUNNER for the event, I had to walk [not run or stand. HAHA] under the schoring HOT sun alot!)
But it was great fun.

I had to leave early to attend MCS Post Production Party/Dinner at Spore Flyer.
I thought that I would be late but I was like 15 minutes early and people only started to come like 30 minutes after the official waiting time. PFFTT!!!

We walked to the flyer and could not find sits at POPEYES, so we taked away and found some empty space to eat and chat.

We walked all the way to Raffles Place just to find a spot to SLACK. But it lasted for less than 5 minutes. After which, we decided to head home.
Serena was spot on when she said that the outing sounded dry when I told her about it.
But I really enjoyed being in the company of MELAYUS which I don't get to interact much with in school since my class is like CHINA no.2
and Lifeguards is like CHINA no.3
and Hockey is like CHINA no.4
and my good friends are like CHINESE (one of which looks like a CHINA doll btw. HAHA JWJW)
So I guess it was worth it.

TERMS ARE OVER!! WOOHOO!!!

The papers were expectingly difficult like to the---->>>> MAX!!

YA YA YA YA I KNOW!!!

It's been almost a month since I updated.

I was too busy with mugging and trainings that I did not have the time to update this already dusted old blog.

Well, it's time to do some spring cleaning and here are some highlights from my life during the June holidays.

So as you all know, it's 3 times a week lifeguard trainings. Initially it was quite fun and all but after a few trainings, it felt quite jaded. I was super lazy to walk from the MRT station to the school LAH!!

YA YA YA, I am as dark and as tan as I can ever be now mayyynn..

NOT GOOD NOT GOOD YO.

So I had CIP with peanut butter JasmineAmmarMuk at some children's home at Potong Pasir. It was preety fun. We played soccer and chatted with the kids. Most of them were like teenagers so it was kinda cool. Someone from the home liked JIA WEI!! HAHAHA.

The next day, JAM went on a shopping trip to Bugis in which I was more than an hour late cus I set the alarm to PM instead of AM. Pro-ness.

Unfortunately, we were too early and most of the shops in Bugis were not opened yet. So it really does not matter that I came late since no shops were open yet. tsk tsk.

I managed to buy a new pair of jeans though.

So while waiting for the shops to open, we spent like over an hour plus at Seol Garden, indulging in a super duperly hearty meal that left us immobile for a while.

Deciding we should shed off some calories we gained from the heavy meal, we decided to do more shopping.

This time it was crazy and we bought like millions and gazillions of stuff. I got another T Shirt while the girls got like 2148643785643 Tshirts.

It's so unfair that girls clothings are much cheaper and varied than guys'. tsk tsk.

Oh I also took my Lifesaving 12&3 tests during the hols. I was super worried because I had made numerous careless mistakes and I thought that I was gonna fail! Fortunately for all of us who took the test, we all passed! HURRAY!! BM next-->>>> YOO!!

OH OH OH !!! I also went to watch two HOCKEY matches with bestie hidung AMI whom I had not seen for quite some time eventhough she lives like just 5 stories above me. HAHAHAHA.
I found out that her boyfriend was playing in the Singapore team.

COOLIOS or COOLNESS??!

The first match we watched was amazing! Singapore won China 3-0. BAIK SPORE!

The second match was also quite cool but I couldnt tell because I was half awake during the game cus I went straight to watch the match from a tiring training. SO SORRY AMI!! HAHA.

But the BANGLAS there were like overly enthu with thier BANGLA flags cheering on their country. Singapore tied a 1 all score with them though. The Banglas were real good I guess...

I did not watch the Brunei match but SPORE won 8-0. POWER!!

So I also had like multiple study sessions with some of the Lifeguard dudes, nearing the end of the hols and the impending doom we refer to as TERMS.

So today after escaping the wrath of the TERMS MONSTER, some of us from 1SC3 went to catch GET SMART at PlazaS. It is such a hilarious movie! I was laughing till I almost died!

IT WAS THAT AWESOME YO!~~

Went shopping with JAM after the rest left and I bought me an ARENA shirt.

I cannot wait for tomorrow!!
My parents will come back from their LOOOONG trip from Europe and they will have like 4354876574687 stuff that they bought for us kids whom were stranded here in tiny Spore.

I cannot wait for Saturday!!

The past few days have been insane!!
Been going back to school for lifeguard trainings and all.
I have an ugly tan line right now. It's as if I am wearing brown stokings or something! HAHA

KK so on Monday I went for lifeguard training and apparently my group for LS 123 did not come so I had to train with the BM people! OMGOSH!!!!
Can die!!
But I must say my 315 timing was not bad for a first time.

On wednesday, training again.
This time Chen Xin and Keith came so I did not need to train with the BM people again.
It was a huge relief cuz the BM people had to do like 10 laps sprints! HAHA
My group slacked a lot basically.

OH OH OH!!
And we played water polo.
Super fun but super tiring at the same time.

OH YEAHH!~

So AWANG BATIL was a success.
If you do not know what Awang Batil is, I will tell you now.
It is a malay drama production by malay cultural society about old malay folklores.
It is a hilarious at the same time traditional play.

I only helped out at the last minute with the costumes and everything else though.

Kk anyways, on the preview day, a bunch of mishaps happened with the shattering of glass screens and the toppling of our sets.
But that did not deter us from continuing on with our play which turned out to be a success still.

On the real day itself, the cast put on a class performance that left the audience gleaming with joy and laughter. Well done cast. BAIK AH REF! ( as the guys would say it)

On the second performance day, the rain in the afternoon sort of dampened our mood and even though our performance that day was not as good as the first it was still an awesome one.

Relief was the general mood after the end of the drama because WE DID IT! No more rehearsals (for the cast). No more staying back till late at night.

After which, euphoria slowly diffused into the air as photo taking sessions began. It was akin to a moving museum as people walked from one end to the other just to grab the opportunity to take a photo with one another. Every moment was a Kodak moment.

The night ended with a trip to _______ for supper.
Sorry that I was not able to make it since I had to rush back home.
That explains why I do not know the place the rest went to. HAHA.

FEVER SUCKS!

I am down with a terrible fever.
I could not sleep last night because the bed felt warm.
This morning I took some pills and felt better afterwards.
However, the fever came back again in the evening.

Sorry to the MCS folks because I could not make it today. My fever was really killing me.

Not sure if I can make it for lifeguard tomorrow too if my fever does not subside.
It is really sad because tomorrow is Lifeguard 1/2 and 3 mock test.
Oh well.

Anyhhoots, yesterday after lifeguard training the lifeguarders had a fun time cam whoring.
After that day, I felt more attached to them and i do not think that I will quit anytime soon dispite thoughts of doing so if Hockey trainings gets insane.
I guess I will just have to balance my time well.

After an enjoyable camwhoring session the lifeguarders went to Vivo City to have dinner.
I know right? VIVO!! of all places.
But, I decided not to go and help out the MCS peeps instead with the drama.
Hopefully I can make it tomorrow and help them again. Hmm..

Hockey training today was such an adventure.
The events of today shall remain a secret.
Well not really since I already told like 3 other people about it. AHAHAHA.

After Hockey, the hockers went to Burger King, Hollan V to indulge ourselves in a scrumptious lunch. For me it was brunch. And I was still not full after the meal. But whatever.

We then decided to move to BK instead cus the people at CB were to high class for our liking!

It's been a while. School has been really fun lately. My classmates are awesome. And, I love strawberry JAM. Jasmine Ammar and MUK!
